Ingredient Scales

When it comes to specialty food and ingredient weighing, DETECTO has manufactured two very helpful ingredient scales to aid in commercial foodservice preparation. To aid in the production of pizzas, sandwiches, cakes, and candy, DETECTO’s PZ series scale can expedite the process. The PZ features an indicator which can tare weight off simply by moving your hand over the motion sensor in the indicator to prevent messes. The indicator can transmit data from up to three wireless bases to weigh products in stages to save food ingredients and accurately give customers the portions they request. The RP30 scale features a rotating stainless steel platform to add ingredients such as frosted icing to cakes, while accurately letting the user know the amount of icing being applied during the process. The rotating platform comes in either round or rectangular to accommodate different types of cakes depending on their construction. These two unique ingredient scales can weigh food products in real time so that business owners can save money with ingredients and labor.
